Daily Tarot Draw: February 9, 2021

With the Daily draw, should I start including stuff like witchy tips of the day or what kind of spellwork is good for that day? Or maybe a astrology update? Let me know in the comments! Or let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions!

Today’s card is the Hierophant. The Hierophant is a finicky card; almost every other Major Arcana card is named with words we know innately, or have knowledge of from just general use, such as Judgement (we know what judgement means as a word, right?) So what does ‘hierophant’ mean? Knowing that a hierophant was a priest in Ancient Greece. Knowing this alone, we can now make our intentions known of the Hierophant.

When he shows up, we should be mindful of guidance and welcome the guidance that comes from other sources. The Hierophant is the bridge between the known and the unknown. For some of us, this means he can bridge us to our spirit guides, if we follow that school. For others of us, that may mean that he can guide us through the mysteries that surround us, or make us more open to the mysterious ‘signs’ the universe sends us. He is the interpreter of the unknown and is here to give us the guidance from the unknown.

Today, we should welcome any signs that come our way. Maybe this is a detour sign through a part of town you’ve never been in, or maybe this is a sign from ourselves to change our lives in some way. We should trust our intuition and our guides to give us the answers we’ve been looking for, or even the answers we didn’t know we were looking for.

Go sign up for our Daily Tarot draw giveaway! We’re just under half way through this deck which means time is running out to score a new deck! Check it out on the giveaway page!
